You can subscribe to this blog by using the links under "Subscribe" section.A Pakistani court has ordered that two men have their ears and noses cut off, as punishment for doing the same to a woman who refused to marry one of them.On one hand it is barbaric to what the two men did to the lady, that too for expressing her free will....the Law is even more barbaric. However, one argument that my friend gave to the "eye for an eye" policy is that, by exercising that you are treating the law breaker with the same set of rules that they laid down for the other. I cannot counter that point. I just hope that just things dont happen. I dont know if the punishment will set an example or not ....But atleast it might create a fear in the mind of the people who plan to do such cowardly acts
